P & P Medicaid specializes in obtaining "Medicaid" eligibility, with emphasis on proper application, document acquisition, and Department of Social Services approval.  We have a proven track record in these areas, and will produce references upon request.  We would venture to estimate that the savings to you, as compared to other service companies or an elder care attorney's costs, would be in the 40-50% range!  We are able to make this bold statement based on our sample price schedule which will meet your individual needs.

Company Profile

P & P Medicaid Consulting, Inc. was established in response to a need by the average person or family that required assistance in obtaining Medicaid eligibility at reasonable rates.  We are located in the Massapequa,  New York, which borders Nassau and Suffolk Counties in Long Island, New York.  P & P has rapidly grown and in addition to assisting families in applying for Medicaid, we have enhanced our services to include Nursing Home and Home Care applications and placement, as well as Social Security Disability applications and completion of P.R.I. Screenings for Nursing Home candidates.  We also will assist and advise in the areas of Reverse Mortgages and Long-Term Care Insurance.

The staff at P & P has over twenty years of experience in the Medicaid/Healthcare industry.  Paul D. Mertz, the President of P & P Medicaid, is responsible for all aspects of the Medicaid application process.  On staff, we have a Registered Nurse, B.S.N. / Certified P.R.I. Screening Nurse, who works with our families when a P.R.I. report is necessary for Nursing Home placement.  Debbie is our friendly and always courteous Office Manager who handles all of our clients' questions and concerns on a daily basis.  The remainder of the P & P staff dedicates their time to helping applicants obtain the necessary paperwork for completion of their applications.

 

In addition, we have direct access to Elder-Care attorneys, who guide us with difficult and complex legal aspects of certain applications.  We also have a great working relationship with the Department of Social Services (Medicaid), Social Security Administration (Medicare), and most of the Nursing Home Facilities and the Home Care Agencies throughout Nassau, Suffolk, and the five boroughs of New York City.
